Saving Mondays sits on Dupont Street as a bright, airy spot where locals come for more than just a quick caffeine fix. This cafe, bakery, and casual eatery strikes a balance between quality coffee, fresh baked goods, and straightforward, hearty meals like their breakfast sandwich or smoked salmon bagel. The large windows flood the space with natural light, which, combined with a modern-industrial design, creates an inviting atmosphere well-suited for both solo work sessions and relaxed meetups.

The clientele here tends to be a mix of remote workers, small groups of friends catching up over coffee, and passersby drawn by the smell of freshly baked croissants and muffins. Outlets are abundant at every seating area—making it easy to plug in a laptop or phone—and the wifi holds up well, so this is a reliable spot for leisurely reading, writing, or powering through emails. Early weekdays and mid-mornings bring a quieter vibe, while weekends see a livelier crowd enjoying casual brunches or afternoon tea.

Coffee and tea drinkers alike will feel at home here. While Saving Mondays is known for their rich, well-crafted cappuccinos, they put just as much care into an extensive herbal tea menu with options like turmeric gold latte and elderberry hibiscus that appeal to those looking for something beyond the espresso bar. The iced matcha latte and other specialty drinks give a refreshing alternative, particularly appreciated during warmer months.

Food-wise, the kitchen keeps things simple but satisfying. The breakfast sandwich stands out as a solid choice—freshly made, balanced, and filling without being over the top. There’s a sensible range of sandwiches, burritos, and a daily chef’s choice soup that make it easy to grab a quick meal or linger over something light. Prices are fair given the quality and portion sizes, and staff are consistently friendly and knowledgeable without being intrusive.

Overall, Saving Mondays is less about trendy vibes and more about creating a functional, comfortable local spot where people come to enjoy good coffee, decent food, and a bright space to occupy for an hour or two. It’s especially appealing for anyone wanting a low-key environment that supports both social time and solo focus sessions, with plenty of natural light and stable wifi to match.

Saving Mondays is a bakery and cafe offering a wide selection of freshly-baked cookies, croissants, muffins, and scones. They also have a good selection of bottled drinks, freshly made coffee, and an extensive tea selection. The selection of teas here especially stood out for me as I don't drink coffee, and most cafes do not have as many options. I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte, and enjoyed it. Though the matcha taste was a bit light, it was still nice to sip on. The industrial space with high ceilings creates a laid back vibe, grear for relaxing, and getting some work done. The staff here were all very friendly as well.

Very friendly, chill, and knowledgeable staff, delicious snack/food options, top notch quality coffee, and a very bright modern industrial atmosphere. Not price gouging despite the amazing attention to quality, they definitely know what they're doing when it comes to coffee. Lastly, every seating option has numerous accessible outlets making it very device friendly, and due to it being a bit less visible from the street it's not overcrowded. Will definitely be back!

Awesome place to bring friends for coffee chat or just hang out alone and work on laptop or have a bite/sip. Coffee is amazing - Hale, and the atmosphere- roominess, natural light, seating and people, staff n kind of people who frequent it- is second to none.

Wowowowow this is the perfect place for writing / reading / whatever heck else you wanna do in a cafe. If you’re working, it’s got outlets galore, great wifi, and solid espresso. I’m a big fan of the massive windows, letting the fall light just pour right in :) Would definitely return & recommend!

The matcha latte and chocolate croissant were alright, but I really liked the breakfast sandwich. Plus, the seating was spacious and comfortable. Also the staff was friendly and helpful too :)

This hidden café is an absolute gem that deserves to be gate kept! With its cool industrial vibe and genuinely friendly baristas, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to keep all to yourself. They serve up something for everyone - great bites, a solid lineup of both caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks, and Hale coffee, a local fave known for being smooth, never acidic or burnt.

This is my favorite cafe ever. I mean... they played Train to Nowhere (The Stampeders). Officially in love, and that's before I get to the food. Best muffin I've ever had, everyone is so nice, the vibes are chill/super sick, and overall had a lovely time.
